Neighbouring School Adoptions Programmes
Under the ‘Adopt a Neighbouring School’ programme, Thursday, 18th July 2024, students from ‘Government High School’ Jhagrakhand participated in the ‘Holistic Development through Education’ programme at Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Jhagrakhand.
After the lamp lighting and welcome ceremony, Mrs. Ishita Pandey (PGT Computer Science) provided theoretical and practical knowledge to the students regarding Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Following this, Mr. Dharmendra Kumar (PGT Hindi) discussed the close relationship between literature and society through literary discussions. He also mentioned that language is a social asset and humans are social beings. While living in society, humans influence language and are also influenced by it.
Ms. Madhu Sharma explained the importance of patriotism to the students through a patriotic song. Finally, Mr. Vinod Kumar Ahirwar familiarized the students with the intricacies of art by introducing them to ‘Fun Art through Games’.
Accompanying the students from Government High School Jhagrakhand were Mrs. Sandhya Bhagat and Mr. Sandeep Tirkey as escorts. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Ashwini (TGT English) at the end of the programme.
