‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ is a government initiative launched in 2015 with the aim of promoting cultural integration and mutual understanding among different states and union territories in India. The programme encourages people to explore and appreciate the diverse traditions, languages, and heritage of various regions, fostering national unity.
Under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ program, Chhattisgarh is paired with Gujarat to promote national integration through mutual understanding.
Events & Activities under ‘KVS Kala Utsav’ are conducted to promote arts in education, nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students.
The following activities and programmes are conducted every year as part of this initiative in all KVs, showcasing the rich national heritage and celebrating the concept of Unity in Diversity.

Under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative, an online/virtual program was conducted on 29/04/2024, in collaboration with KV Viramgam, pairing the states of Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. During this program, students from both regions exchanged information about their respective cultures, including details on location, language, dance, traditions, festivals, and more.
