Scouts and Guides play a vital role in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, fostering confidence, self-esteem, and exploration beyond the classroom. Rallies and Utsavs for Cubs and Bulbuls (Class III-V) promote brotherhood and compassion. Students from Class III to X are encouraged to join this voluntary movement, with the motto “Be Prepared” for serving humanity and protecting nature.

Highest Awards:
- Golden Arrow Award (Cubs/Bulbuls): The highest recognition for Cubs and Bulbuls, awarded for exceptional skills, service, and leadership. It marks the completion of the entire advancement scheme and includes proficiency tests, outdoor activities, and community service.
- Rashtrapati Scout/Guide Award (Scouts/Guides): The highest award for Scouts and Guides.
NCC training in KVs follows Ministry of Defence guidelines, with the motto “Unity and Discipline.” It includes Army, Navy, and Air Force to instill patriotism among students.
