Report on Vocational Education at Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Jhagrakhand
In line with the objectives of integrating Vocational Education with general education as envisioned in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Jhagrakhand has been selected as one of the 300 KVs across the country to serve as a Vocational Education Hub. This initiative is part of the Skill Hub Initiative launched by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
At Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Jhagrakhand, vocational training courses in IT-ITES and Electronics have been successfully conducted during school hours in the session 2024-25.
This initiative aims to provide students with practical skills and knowledge that will prepare them for future employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
